Moonstruck in the best way Ever!
Last night, October 31, 2021 I was awakened by bright light around 3:30 AM. I got out of bed and went to the window. I was awestruck, gob smacked, overwhelmed: immediately overflowing with gratitude. I must’ve said, “thank you God, thank you Angels” a thousand times over the next two hours.
The sky was filled with stars and planets brighter than I’ve seen in many years. They seemed so close, so clear, so Real. Finally, I tore myself away from the window.
I went out to the front porch, trying to be quiet so as not to wake Mom, and sat in complete humbleness giving thanks for this opportunity to see and appreciate the glory of our universe. Our tiny little planet, with all kinds of living beings, humans, animals, insects, plants witnessing the awesome universe. No wonder humanity began honoring the Sun, the Moon, Orion and all those many “picture planets” they drew and named in their sky, now my sky.
